Hollywood Poker takes every possible precaution to make sure that your games are always trustworthy. Our goal is to eliminate your concerns about security and leave you free to enjoy your poker.

Fairness and Integrity

Hollywood Poker's games have been thoroughly checked and proven fair by third-party auditors. Both the shuffling algorithms and the random number generator have been designed to ensure a completely unpredictable shuffle. Thorough testing and evaluation of our gaming software has found that:

There is no statistical bias in the dealt pocket cards.
There is no statistical bias in cards dealt to any of the board positions.

Security

All communications between the Hollywood Poker server in Canada (Kahnawake) and the client program running on your computer are encrypted. When it's processed by our systems, your name and credit card information is always encrypted (scrambled) using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. This means that your name, address, credit-card number, password and everything else that goes back and forth between your computer and ours is protected from prying eyes.

Our credit-card processing is handled by Optimal Payments, a publicly traded company with many years of experience as one of the leading credit-card processing companies on the Internet. Optimal Payments is located in Montreal, Canada, and currently processes over $1 billion of consumer payments annually.

During play, your cards are sent to your computer only. Hollywood Poker employs the most sophisticated security available to prevent other players from accessing your cards.

For your protection, all game activities are logged and saved in our database. We are therefore able to analyze the hands in the game log and search for suspicious playing patterns.

Management will thoroughly investigate all complaints registered by players suspecting collusion. Hand history transcripts are instantly available for all players and will show the exact betting of each game and the final hands of all players who called the river card. Any player that attempts collusion at Hollywood Poker will be permanently banned from our games.

As an extra security measure, we do not allow two players with the same IP number (on the same computer or same network) to play at the same table.
